Welcome to Live as PM. By creating an account or using liveaspm.com (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Live as PM is an interactive, game-like learning experience for practicing product-management judgment inside a fictional world called Polaris Academy. It is an educational simulation. It is not an accredited course, a certification, career counseling, or professional advice, and completing missions carries no guarantee of any professional or employment outcome.
2. Everything in the game is fiction
All companies, products, characters, metrics, and events inside the missions — including Wavely, Brightdesk, Nimbus, Torchlight, Beacon, Lumen, and the mentor GUTKU — are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real companies, products, or persons, living or dead, is coincidental and unintended.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information; one account per person.
- You can delete your account at any time from the site footer — deletion is permanent.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- probe, breach, or test the security of the Service or its data storage, or access another user's data;
- scrape, copy at scale, resell, or republish the Service's content as your own;
- use the Service to send spam or abuse, or interfere with its operation;
- use the Service where prohibited by applicable law.
5. Intellectual property
The Service — its missions, story, characters, design, and code — is owned by the operator of Live as PM. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own learning. Feedback and suggestions you send us may be used to improve the Service without obligation or compensation.
6. Availability and changes
The Service is provided free of charge and may change, pause, or end at any time. We may modify missions, scoring, features, or these terms; material changes to the terms will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Product-management scenarios are simplified for learning; real-world decisions require real-world judgment.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Live as PM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including loss of data, profits, or opportunities — arising from your use of the Service. As the Service is free, our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed INR 1,000 (or the equivalent in your local currency).
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service, with or without notice.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
